We have been in business since June 2008 however the idea for the "Short Bus" sprang into being in the spring of 2007. Since then we have taken groups out on several occasions ranging from scenic wine tours, weddings, festivals, golf outings, bachelor and bacherlorette parties, St. Patty's Day pub crawls, graduations and family reunions. We also offered a free benefit shuttle for the "Suds and Snow" event at a local resort this past March so folks who imbibe could have a safe ride back to their local hotels. We had a very good turn out and fun was had by all.

      We are in operation from March 1 - Dec. 1 and reservations and a deposit are required to secure your date(s). We also will be offering special shuttle services to and from local events and festivals. The maximum we are allowed to carry is 14 persons.

      We will tailor your special occasion or event to your groups' individual needs and questions and new ideas are always welcome. For example: if your group would like to take a picturesque wine tour and would like to stop for a light lunch, but prefer not to dine inside, we can call ahead to a participating local restaurant or deli to box up some mouth watering meals. You will be able to enjoy your picnic at the historic Old Mission lighthouse seated at the water's edge on scenic Grand Traverse Bay or enjoy the beauty from Pyramid Point and the Sleeping Bear Dunes National lakeshore.

      This year we are featuring a special shuttle to the rustic fishing village of Leland, Michigan situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. You can customize your trip by chartering an all day fishing trip with local charter services that will take your groups of six for a fabulous day of fishing and fun.
          
      While dining, enjoy the relaxing sounds as the water flows over the Leland river dam and the sun sets over the Manitou Islands on beautiful Lake Michigan.

      We are licensed by the State of Michigan's MDOT (Michigan Department of Transportation) and follow all of the regulations for operation.
